  • Notes and records from therapy sessions 
  • Payment and appointment history 
  • Stored Payment Details

This information helps us provide appropriate care and meet ethical and legal obligations. 

2. How Information is collected

Your information may be collected when: 


  • You make an enquiry or book a session 
  • You complete intake or consent forms 
  • You participate in therapy sessions 
  • You communicate via email or other secure means

3. Use of Your Information

Your information is used to:  


  • Deliver therapy services 
  • Support continuity of care 
  • Maintain accurate clinical records 
  • Manage bookings, billing, and communication 
  • Fulfil any legal and professional requirements

4. Confidentiality & Telehealth

All telehealth sessions are conducted through secure, encrypted telehealth platforms that meet Australian privacy and security requirements. Sessions are never recorded without your explicit written consent.  

5. Storage & Data Security

Your information is stored on encrypted, password-protected systems with security measures that meet Australian industry standards.
 

All data is:
 

  • Stored securely on servers located within Australia 
  • Backed by enterprise-grade security systems and regular monitoring 
  • Accessible only to authorised personnel involved in your care 

6. When Information May Be Shared

Your information is kept confidential unless:
 

  • You give clear written consent to share it 
  • We are legally required to disclose information (e.g. by court order) 
  • There is a serious risk to your safety or the safety of others 
  • Disclosure is required in an emergency or life-threatening situation
     

Whenever possible, you will be informed before any such disclosure occurs. 

7. Access and Corrections

You have the right to:
 

  • Request access to your personal or clinical information 
  • Request corrections to inaccurate or outdated records
     

To do so, please contact us in writing. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 30 days. 

8. Record Retention

Client records are securely retained for:
 

  • 7 years from the date of your last session, or 
  • Until you turn 24 years old, if therapy began while under 18
     

After this period, information is securely destroyed or permanently de-identified. 

9. Concerns or Complaints

We take privacy seriously. If you have a question or concern about how your information is handled, please contact us directly.
